Individual and Group Counseling: Counseling sessions are available by appointment for individuals and groups. Our counseling is Bible based and meant to cause repentance and change by letting the Word of God renew the mind. There is no charge for this service but donations are encouraged. All of our counseling is overseen by counselors with Masters Degrees and hundreds of hours of experience.
Anger Management : We provide certified anger management training from a Bible based perspective. The core of our training is a Bible based look at anger issues and how to be free from the reactions to anger that cause sin. The tools and belief that we teach are both practical and powerful.
The curriculum includes Century Anger Management's Model; of Intervention by Ari Novick and tony Fiore. Century Anger management is approved by the California State Board of Corrections (Certification #3530-031088).
Additionally, we use the Holy Bible as a text and material from "I Will Give you Rest" by Ed Kurath.
We offer this training in an ongoing group setting and in individual sessions as well.
The current cost for this program is $45 for materials and $20 per session. The average individual will finish the program in 14 sessions.
Ladies Bible Studies: At least once a year we offer a 10-14 week series of Bible study for women. These groups meet once a week, the study is serious and meaningful. There is homework.
Youth Bible Studies: We offer Bible study for youth every week. The lessons are carefully crafted to meet the needs of the young people. The group is lead by a young adult and has oversight from an ordained church elder.
Men's Retreat: Several times per year we offer a retreat for men. There is a strong message from the Word, good food, and prayer/quiet time.
Community Service Opportunities: We offer several opportunities per month for young people to accomplish their community service time both as volunteers or in some cases as assigned by Teen Court.
Job Training: Counselors in our program are offered the opportunity if their schedule allows to work in our office environment and learn skills relating to office, sales, accounting, planning and management. Additionally, dozens of practical skills are taught. |
